The ideal person will have an excellent understanding of all building trades, building construction and maintenance with previous experience working within social/council housing.
The right person requires the ability to provide technical building repairs advice and guidance to Senior Management and to the team, to ensure the most appropriate work is undertaken to preserve housing assets, whilst having awareness to costs.
You should be able to carry out any minor works required to ensure the works are completed within the legislations time scales.
You will need a a full valid driving licence is also required as you will be driving a Council vehicle during working hours, typically be 8.00am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
