It is important that the right person has a helpful, polite and non-judgemental approach to dealing with customers and, as you will be representing the Council, you will be expected to act in a professional manner at all times.
You should have a steady and methodical working style with the ability to balance ever changing and conflicting priorities.
Good ICT skills are important and our ideal person would be a good team player with the flexibility, not only to take on varying duties but also to be able to work at both Fareham and Gosport offices if required.
Ultimately you must have a sense of pride and the commitment to do a good job.
You will need a full clean driving licence to safely drive the Council vehicles along with the flexibility to work a shift pattern with hours between 07.30 and 18.30 including weekends and bank holidays.
The successful candidate will be required to apply for a Standard Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as the Criminal Records Bureau) at the cost of the Council.
